Community Transport Association (CTA), is a national membership body with members from across all four nations. Good Fundraising provide governance support and a clerking service ensuring the smooth operation of the Board of Trustees. We organise Trustee and Sub-committee meetings, help with Trustee recruitment and support the AGM. Autism Plus adds value to lives through specialised care and support or adults and young people with autism, neurodiverse conditions, learning disabilities and mental health conditions. The charity runs social enterprises, supported living options, provides training services, employment support and work experience opportunities. Autism Plus empowers neurodiverse adults and young people with disabilities to lead independent lives with choice at the heart of everything they do. Offering adults and young people a choice in where to live, who to live with (or not), the chance to work or learn new skills, support to develop relationships and friendships, and live fulfilling and rewarding lives. Good Fundraising carried out a fundraising review and feasibility study for Autism Plus for the potential £5 million pound development work of their Park House Barns site. The study provided Autism Plus with a targeted look at the funding landscape, consulted with all stakeholders, provided a list of funding prospects, showed the gifting pyramid for different levels of investment and highlighted risks. The Armstrong Hall in Thornbury, is a much-loved venue for the performing arts and an important community space for the people of Thornbury that sadly closed during the pandemic and has not been able to re-open. Good Fundraising has previously undertaken an extensive fundraising review of the facility investigating the feasibility of a capital appeal for the site. Currently, Good Fundraising is working closely with a team of committed local volunteers, Thornbury Community Arts, to develop a realistic fundraising strategy and raise the funds required to refurbish and open the facility. Theatre Factory is a production led creative company. They make stories in many forms: theatre (indoors and out), animation, digital and sound. Theatre Factory are community led, making stories in collaboration with children, young people, and adults, whose ideas are at the heart of everything they do. Theatre Factory share stories locally and regionally from their home in Barrow-in-Furness and help to nurture emerging local artists. They support children and young people to develop their creativity, grow talent and provide career pathways, as well as empowering future generations to play an active role in shaping the culture and heritage of the borough and beyond. Good Fundraising were employed to carry out a comprehensive bespoke fundraising review which took 6 months and involved in depth consultations with all stakeholders. Copies of the review were supplied for all board members and have helped shaped strategic decisions. Following on from our bespoke review work, Good Fundraising have completed many trust and foundations applications for Theatre Factory, securing core income for the charity and supporting them with their fundraising plans for their exciting IF! The Green Estate Community Interest Company is a social enterprise which aims to grow engaging, adaptive and resilient urban places. It is a community and ecosystem of landscape designers, meadow makers, park and heritage stewards, green recyclers, venue organisers, volunteers and more who all care about social and environmental sustainability. The team have a very strong track record of generating income but wanted to come together to share experiences and to find a way forward for their future. Good Fundraising were delighted to facilitate a one-day workshop where senior staff members across the different areas of Green Estate’s work were able to work together and contribute to a SWOT analysis, PEST analysis and discussion about the fundraising landscape and to draw out the best return on investment of fundraising activities against their business income needs. The Civic, Barnsley is the only contemporary art gallery and theatre of scale within the town. Barnsley Civic exists to provide Barnsley and the surrounding communities with a culturally significant voice. It offers a progressive programme of events, exhibitions and performances that relate to Barnsley’s social, economic and political attitudes whilst also entertaining and encouraging debate. The charity is passionate about people of all ages and backgrounds having access to the best possible arts and cultural experiences on their own doorstep. Good Fundraising have worked with Barnsley Civic for a number of years securing income for their £3 million pound capital refurbishment project, community engagement programmes, developing corporate fundraising plans and creating corporate fundraising collateral.
