Walking together in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease

Last week, our Lead Consultant Cath, Corporate Lead Tracey, and Head of Wellbeing Bex proudly joined Day 5 of the March of the Day III challenge, completing stages 70–71 of the 97-stage challenge, approx. 7 miles from Batley Bulldogs RL Ground to Mirfield via Dewsbury Rams RL Ground.
The epic 340-mile, 6-day challenge began at Anfield on 1st June and visited 44 football and rugby league grounds across Northern England ending on Saturday evening at the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Seacroft, Leeds bringing together nearly 1,000 sports fans, communities, and former professional players to raise awareness and vital funds for those affected by MND
Funds raised support the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and Leeds Hospitals Charity, helping to:
💙 Raise awareness of MND
💙 Support families living with MND through essential grants and adaptations
💙 Fund research into treatments and a cure
So far, over £130,000 has been pledged, there’s still time to support in the fight against MND. Every donation helps make a difference.
