Why Would Anyone Walk on Hot Coals?

That was the question on everyone’s mind – but the Good Fundraising team had their answer.
Hosted by UK Firewalk at the National Coal Mining Museum for England on Wednesday 18th March, our team took on the fiery challenge to support the Museum’s award-winning learning and engagement programme. Each step across the glowing coals helped fund opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore the history of coal and its lasting impact on communities.
The evening was about more than just facing fears. It was about coming together to back something meaningful. With the energy, encouragement, and expert guidance of UK Firewalk, every team member found the confidence to take that brave first step.
Walking on hot coals isn’t something you do every day – but when it’s for a cause that matters, it’s a challenge worth taking.
Here’s what Cath, said:
‘What a fabulous event, brilliant for team building and we all felt really motivated and ready to face any challenges afterwards!’
