Cath’s Marathon Journey

By Good Fundraising

Our Director, Cath, has been training hard and running regularly outside of the office, and it’s really paying off!

On March 28th, she ran the Prague Half Marathon – her first in 22 years – and what a day is was: blue skies, sunshine, and amazing supporters to cheer her on. She crossed that finish line with a PB, taking nearly an hour off her previous time, feeling inspired and ready for the next challenge.

Next up is the London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 12th. Starting outside Whitehall, Cath will run past the historic sites of Westminster, along the Embankment, and soak in the stunning views of London’s landmarks, from Big Ben and St Paul’s Cathedral to The Tower of London, The Shard, and the London Eye. Every mile will be a celebration of the city’s character and history.

And then comes the London Marathon on April 26th, her biggest challenge yet, where Cath will be running to raise money for Battersea. Battersea is there for every dog and cat, giving them care, finding them the right homes, and supporting pet owners along the way. It’s a cause close to our hearts, and every donation makes a real difference. Having two re-homed pups herself, Scruff ‘n’ Bex, it is a charity close to Cath’s heart.

If you’d like to support Cath and help Battersea continue their amazing work, you can donate here.

Well done Cath, you’re doing fantastic!
