The Oulton Institute

The Oulton Institute is a vibrant community hub at the heart of the village, offering a welcoming space for people of all ages. Activities include Pilates, craft afternoons, salsa dancing, choir practices, ballet lessons, theatre school, play sessions, tea dances, and coffee mornings. Run by a volunteer committee as a charitable trust, the Institute combines historic charm with modern facilities, including refurbished office suites and flexible rooms for hire, remaining a cherished space for social connection and community life.

The Institute’s much-loved community hall was falling into disrepair. Following consultation with users, potential users, and local residents,

Good Fundraising managed a targeted programme of applications to trusts and foundations including landfill tax funders and successfully raised the funds needed to repair the roof, heating, windows, staging, and flooring. These improvements have revitalised the space, ensuring it continues to serve the community for years to come.
