Homelessness Is On The Rise!
To support the work of Helping the homeless Wakefield & Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation, two of our consultants, Catherine Longley and Tracey Mearns, are braving the cold and unpredictable weather on Friday, 24th November 2023, sleeping out overnight at the Wakefield Trinity stadium until 7 am the next morning. Their aim is to experience firsthand the conditions many homeless people must endure on the streets of Wakefield this time of year. In addition, they hope to hit their fundraising target of £500, which will contribute to projects that Helping The Homeless Wakefield and Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation deliver in the Wakefield area.
