Denby Grange

Denby Grange CAC is a long-established community sports club based in Overton, Wakefield, with roots dating back to 1902. The club plays a vital role as a community hub, offering high-quality recreational facilities for local people.

The club supports more than 15 teams across a range of sports, including senior and junior football, cricket, and bowls. Its facilities include well-maintained playing fields, social and kitchen spaces, disabled access, and parking, making it a flexible venue for both sporting activity and wider community use.Good Fundraising was commissioned to help secure the funding needed to extend and refurbish the clubhouse, enabling it to better serve the wider community. We developed a targeted fundraising plan focused on trusts and foundations and landfill tax funding. We were delighted to support the club in successfully securing all required funding, culminating in the reopening of the improved clubhouse in summer 2024.
