Armstrong Hall, Thornbury

The Armstrong Hall in Thornbury is a much-loved performing arts venue and a vital community space for local people. Sadly, it closed during the pandemic and has not yet reopened.

Good Fundraising previously conducted an extensive fundraising review of the facility, assessing the feasibility of a capital appeal to support its revival.

Good Fundraising have worked with the organisation’s dedicated team of local volunteers, Thornbury Community Arts, to develop a practical fundraising strategy, produce a case for support document, funder pipeline and draft bid for an approach to the Garfield Weston Foundation. The fundraising pathway is set, and we are on hand to support the volunteers every step of the way as they work hard to return their cherished building into a cultural and social hub for all.
