Good Fundraising is based in Yorkshire and works with charities across the UK. We work closely with trustees, leadership teams, staff, volunteers and beneficiaries to develop practical support that helps organisations to achieve their goals. Our work ranges from securing core and project, and refurbishing community spaces to delivering multi-million-pound capital projects, no piece of work is too big or too small.

Catherine Longley – Director

With over 25 years’ experience, Cath has successfully raised funds for national, regional and local charities, not-for-profit organisations and community groups across the UK. A fully certified member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, she holds a Diploma in Fundraising alongside Master’s degrees in Charity Resource Management and Museum Studies.

For the past five years, she has managed a local charity, overseeing finances and budgets, supporting fundraising activity and managing the increasing administrative and compliance demands that come with a successful and growing Trust.

Cath is a purpose-led fundraiser who has worked across both the charitable and commercial sectors, supporting charities and community groups to unlock funding, provide hope and make a lasting difference in their communities. She has over 16 years’ experience in income generation roles, raising funds for heritage projects, disability services, youth work, poverty relief, family support services and faith-based organisations.

Scruff ‘n’ Bex – Head of Wellbeing and Resilience

Fundraising can be tough, and building resilience is essential to navigating the ups and downs. At Good Fundraising, Scruff and Bex, our faithful (and very cute) office dogs take the lead on wellbeing and resilience. They make sure we take regular breaks to play fetch and insist on fresh air with daily walks, whatever the weather. Their support helps keep our team energised, focused and ready to do our best work.
