Barnsley Youth Theatre

Barnsley Youth Theatre (BYT) is dedicated to engaging children and young people in the arts across the Barnsley area. Their mission is to boost confidence, social skills, and creativity through fun, large-scale productions and interactive workshops, welcoming all members without auditions.

BYT offers a range of opportunities, including:

• Applied Theatre and Community Drama projects (ATCD) for young people to participate in creative arts.
• Public, community-led arts productions showcasing local talent.
• Regular, low-cost arts workshops designed to be engaging and accessible for all.

Good Fundraising has supported BYT to secure funding from Arts Council England and other funders, enabling them to deliver high-quality arts projects for young people across the community.
