Our Bid-Writing Lead, Catherine, Joins The Market Place Board

We’re thrilled to share that our bid-writing lead, Catherine, has recently joined the board of The Market Place, a vital charity supporting young people in Leeds.

The Market Place has been empowering young people since 1989, offering free and confidential youth work and counselling services for those aged 11 to 24. From counselling and a youth work-led Drop-In service to the C-Card initiative, they provide crucial support to young people in need.

In her new role as a Trustee Board member, Cath will be focusing on fundraising strategy and opportunities, helping to ensure The Market Place can sure up its funding base, reach back up to its fullest service levels and provide much needed free, and non-judgemental mental health support for 11-24 year olds living in Leeds. With her expertise in bid writing and securing funding, she will play a key role in supportin the charity’s long-term sustainability.
