Good Fundraising have provided a number of charities, faith groups and health organisations in the Yorkshire region and further afield.
We have recently provided strategic advice and fundraising feasibility studies for a variety of charities working in health and social care sectors and with disabled people. For the past two years Good Fundraising supported Cancer Support Bradford and Airedale with their fundraising activities providing strategic advice, development, mentoring and training. Prior to this Good Fundraising supported Barnsley Hospice with fundraising strategy development. Currently fundraising support is being provided to the Howland centre in Dewsbury and Lewisham Speaking Up.
In addition, Good Fundraising is continuing its work with incommunities in Bradford to develop a strong fundraising function for the incommunities Foundation. Follwing a period of review, analysis, strategy development and recruitment, a programme of training and mentoring is now in place.
Following in depth fundraising feasibility studies we have developed fundraising programmes for a number of churches. These include Trinity in Ossett and St Cuthbert’s in Birkby, who are undertaking major capital appeals to improve their buildings and develop facilities for community use. Work at Trinity church has resulted in the refurbishment and development of a wonderful community space for use by the people of Ossett, as well as facilitating urgent works to the fabric of the historic building including restoration to the east and West windows. Mentoring and training at St Cuthbert’s has provided key people with the confidence, skills and knowledge to secure a number of significant grants on their own. Good Fundraising has also worked with The Vine in Leeds to secure grants in support of its Child Contact Centre and Debt Advice Service.
